(Notice how no one from the Harris camp is crowing how good "Bienomics" is now? You'd think they would during the anointed one's attempt.) From: https://tinyurl.com/22r6mcth (postmillenial.com) === Food prices skyrocket under 'Kamalanomics'-haven't been this bad since the Carter administration The cost of "food at home" has increased by over 21 percent since Biden and Harris took over the White House. Katie Daviscourt Seattle WA Aug 15, 2024 Americans are experiencing the consequences of increased grocery prices under the economic policies of the Biden-Harris administration. The cost of food has not been this high since the Carter administration. Basic standard groceries - the cost of "food at home" - has increased by over 21 percent since Biden and Harris took over the White House. Inflation has been a top concern for Americans, with 77 percent of voters viewing it as a "very important issue" heading into the 2024 election, according to a recent YouGov poll. Grocery prices have risen significantly under Harris's time in the White House, despite the White House's attempts to minimize the impact of recent price increases. Harris was instrumental in the legislative agenda that resulted in this outcome. Her tie-breaking votes in the Senate were instrumental in the passage of trillions of dollars in expenditure, which many economists believe contributed to the inflation crisis, Breitbart News reported. Food inflation has increased more over the first 42 months of the Biden-Harris administration than it has under any other president since Jimmy Carter, and is the third-largest increase over the first three and a half years of a presidential term behind Nixon's second term and Carter's record, according to data dating back to 1952. In comparison, during the first 42 months of Donald Trump's presidency, grocery costs increased by just 6.3 percent. Inflation is still on the rise and VP Kamala Harris, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, will have to answer for her economic track record as she attempts to secure the presidency in November. === -- Sean --- MultiMail/Linux * Origin: Outpost BBS * Johnson City, TN (618:618/1) |
