Consider it stopped.

10x CDRoms only have a 2% increase in efficiency over 8x CDRoms.  I don't see
why they'd push THAT media further.

Same for Pentium...  200's aren't 20% faster than 166's (numerically they
should be).  200 is tops for the Pentium...    Now we'll see what the Pentium
Pro or 686 can do.
