I think here in Spain, usual practice is for the pizza restaurant to own the
equipment and pay the expenses.

Some pizza restaurants have started cutting deals with external deliverers
(such as Uber Eats) as of late, probably because it allows them to have
delivery without needing to hire somebody. Hiring people in Spain is extremely
risky and many businesses would rather stop growing than hire more people.
