It used to be that opinion pieces, especially on television and radio, had
to be labeled as such.  I don't know exactly when or why, but something
changed (for the worse) and that is no longer true.  The cable news
networks, in particular, are bad about this.

IMHO, whatever changed to allow this is the root of many of our problems
today.
