As someone that has numerous gay and lesbian friends, I don't notice any of this
at all. Granted both of our experiences are subjective and all we can offer is
conjecture.

There is also the larger concept of gatekeeping, which may be part of this whole
thing. Certain minorities don't support other minorities for various reasons
that can be summarized as "we had to deal with xyz and you didn't so we don't
accept you."

Nevertheless I don't think it's healthy to overgeneralize based on what one bi
person said one time. *shrug*
