oh this time his log level was set wrong.
i increased it to debug level and increased the time it holds them
so i can take a better look.

just the way he set it up was not useful at all.

jesse works a lot and he's going to school at the same time(and he has a
sloppy way of doing things), so i'm doing minimal stuff to get it running.
he knows because i txted him.
