On 04 Jan 23 00:12:07, Jas Hud said the following to Sean Dennis: JH> the logs are NOT helpful at all. they are total shit. The mailer I notice you like to take little digs from time to time about being "shit" with no intelligent arguement other than "it is", actually has at least three different ways of logging and reporting problems. Logs can be terse or detailed... a setting clearly documented. In fact every setting is clearly documented, nothing for interpretation. Every setting has an F1-help screen with very clear English explanations of what to do and what not to do. Almost as if the author dealt with plenty of stupidity and moronic accusation from lowercase subject-matter-trolls before. As you love to be Captain Obvious, I'll steal your thunder for a moment to proclaim that NO mailer will operate correctly if the settings are WRONG. Because that was the case with him when he politely asked me to Teamviewer into his system to get Scinet working with Deon... in less than a minute I fixed two glaring mistakes with his settings and everything worked perfectly. I didn't need to look at any logs. He offered to pay me for my time. I politely declined. He's a very nice guy and a hardcore DB fan ever since. He knows that if something is not working its the SETTINGS. Now please... enlighten us all how I'm an idiot and my software is shit?
