My experience is with older electric mowers with cords. I found I had to go
over an area 2 or 3 times to get a decent cut, but I assume the newer ones
work better. Corded ones have the 'no battery' advantage but you have to be
careful not to run over the cord..     B)

Around my place I have to use gas. Here we're talking acres of land and you
end up hundreds of feet from a power source. I suppose a battery one would
work as well if it cuts well. Grass here is also a little tougher than the
manicured lawns you find in towns and cities..
