In my observations, race, gender, and identity politics are quite alive and well on other social media, especially Instagram (which is owned by Meta now). It's distasteful to me to see people flailing about with their "look at me, I'm special!" posts about those three issues. They have no bearing on me since I see people as people and not for the color of their skin, what set of genitalia they have (or think they have), or any of that. I just don't care. I may be old-fashioned in my thinking but I have bigger things to worry about. As for Russia, the US has a long and infamous history of intefering in elections, especially in Central and South America. So when I see Americans scream "Russia, Russia, Russia!", I laugh because the US is just as guilty as Russia with this subject yet most Americans are too stupid to realize it. IMNSHO, it's all smoke and mirrors designed to keep us Americans on focusing on what we should be focusing on: ourselves. -- Sean ...
