I have heard Russia has been kicked out of SWIFT, which will make it harder for
them to perform international transactions. I suspect this will make Russia
develop commercial ties and alliances with Asian powers as a defensive
maneuver.

Something today suggested to me that Biden pretty much forced Putin to invade,
as a way of making Europe limit the import of Russian gas so they would become
more dependant on American gas instead.
