Ronald, I think that when people find out you have a computer and that you're a writer, they start looking for ways to rope you into doing a newsletter! There's a conspiracy I tell you! :-) But then again, doing WWR and the newsletter for the club has gotten me an offer from a new company to do newsletters for businesses for $20 an hour so I guess all that practice comes in handy if you like DTP. 4 pence? What is that in dollars? When I started out writing, I got 75 cents a printed INCH. No wonder I tried to do a lot of pictorials. I used to get $5 for a face shot and $10 for a photo of something else. Now I charge $50 to shoot a roll of film or $30 an hour for shoots that take more time than effort. But photography is my first love and it comes easy to me. I've written about a lot of topics that most people wouldn't be interested in. How about sheep shearing in Oregon, or methods of horse breaking? The stories were quite interesting but not something that would interest everyone.
