     Leslie,

     I suppose you're right.  I probably need to learn to be more aggressive.
It's hard for me to change.  I'm not really a passive person either though.  I
don't let anyone tell me what to do.  But when it comes down to my having to
extract the results I desire from business associates, I do much better on
paper because I can take the time to think out each word ahead of time.  On
the phone I'm afraid I will give impulsive answers and perhaps paint myself
into a corner. :-)

     Working with a group is never easy.  I'd much rather work alone whenever
possible.  Maybe your agent WILL sell your ms to Spielberg!  Think positive!

     I'm doing the same thing this week.  I have a list of publications/
editors, that I want to send letters to this week to see if I can pick up a
few freelance assignments.  I suppose I am rushing things a bit but I can't
afford to sit around waiting for editors to reply.  I need work NOW!
     Hopefully this will be a PRODUCTIVE week for both of us.  Good luck
