RRD#@>suspect.  People love to talk about their work so interviews are USUALLY

Individual business owners are often good interviews...my biggest
problems come with those little blurbs I end up having to do about big
chain stores and multiple-site businesses!  I often spend more time
trying to find someone *willing* to do an interview for a 75 word blurb
about something one of the big chains is doing than I do getting an
interview done with the guy down the street who owns a little cafe,
salon or store featured in a full profile.
I like doing the stories with local business owners...I really don't
care for doing columns with blurbs about big banks, chain stores or
franchises changing their names...opening a new outlet...whatever.
