Andy, Pyramid writing is putting the who, what, where, when, why and sometimes how, into the first paragraph of your article. Then in the rest of the article you expand on each of these. Some newspapers and most magazines follow a more modern version of that type of writing. All the elements are there but in a less ridged format that allows the writer to be creative.
