It is (dating myself) really neat to get feedback from people who don't just
read as a hobby.

Re:  Penthouse.  I would've liked to have Playboy in my portfolio, but who
the heck would I show *that* one to?  (g)  You're quite right, of course.
There's a market for every kind of writing.  You just have to look and keep
sending in those query letters.

Speaking of which - Since you've had more experience at this sort of thing,
is there a best way to write a query letter?  I'd appreciate any feedback
from anybody else as well.
