     Leslie,

Actually, it's Patti's job to make you look intelligent. It's my job to
make sure people READ the material I print. ;-) It's a really nice layout
though. (IMHO, of course.)

It was LONG, and everyone knows how much I hate to type but I'll forgive
you, this time. ;-) Australia sounds great. Meet some charming man with a
great accent and go live in the out-back and watch kangaroos hop by. ROFL
I just watched something on the news, yesterday as a matter of fact,
about a new way they are treating carpol tunnel syndrome. It's done with
electrical stimmulation and it has an 85% success rate, without surgery! I do
worry about getting that since I do spend a great deal of time at the
keyboard, but so far I don't have any signs of it. How about you?

Yesterday I started writing a short story about some very demented
distant relative, but as I feared, it's more suited, I think, to a book rather
than a short story. Patti's got me replacing "telling" with dialogue and that
really adds to the word count. Since all I have to go on are two very old
newspaper clippings and what's left of my aunt's memory, I'm doing a lot of
supposing about what might have caused a situation like this to happen.
What the story deals with is an aunt who murdered five babies, wrapped
them in newspaper and placed them in a trunk in her attic. Weeeeoooo I don't
have skeletons in my closet, they're in the attic. ;-) The bodies were
discovered because the woman left a deathbed confession. Knowing WHY she did
it doesn't make it any easier to understand.

          Rhia
