     Patti,

     I thought at first that you thought I'd written the poem.
     DaLisa is rather embarrassed by the whole thing.  She's on the shy side,
not at all like her mother in that respect. ;-)
     When she was writing the poem, she was having trouble with one of the
lines.  I suggested a word and now she always tells people that "mom helped
me."  Never mind that she wrote ALL the other words on her own.  Now I wish I
had let her figure it out on her own.
     DaLisa loves to write though and claims to want to be a writer when she
grows up.  I hope that she passes me up.
