If I recall, you've asked this question before and I've proposed that you use 
the shareware Drive Snapshot. Nothing comes to close to it unless you start 
looking at more commercial trialware like Veeam, which I believe no longer 
supports Windows 7.

I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean by you want to backup to an
offsite server but not wanting to pay for a VPS...  its an offsite server
that you already provisioned, control, pay Internet and have a VPN 
connection to then?
