UGH.  I hate when that happens.  Happened to me with a WD Red HDD.  However
they mailed me a new one same day and at the time I was running a RAID setup
so the computer was off until the HDD got here.

New PC has 3 2TB drives, and the boot drive is a 256gb Kingston SSD.  So far
so good.
