Some ideas and/or > samples would be great Telnet to bbs.chris-co.org ... you can see one beefed up there that I have done a long time ago, just to get an idea, but I am not really up for just handing out all the code for it, but hopefully it will be one of many ideas to get you started. It takes a script for each thing in VSTRING. Basically, during the login screen, you use <left> and <right> arrows to choose one of the following: Login to BBS, New User, Login as GUEST, Disconnect. Select Login, and it draws 3 fields, one for Username, one for PW, and one for System Password (Sysops only). Select New, and it will automatically type New <enter> as the login so you can create a new account. At that point, it will welcome you and then draw out a colorful New User Form, and the cursor will move to each field, and at the bottom of the form, for each entry, it will tell you what that field is for and what kind of information you should be entering. If you choose Login as GUEST, it will do same as normal login, but will automatically enter GUEST and the guest password and log you in, and the start script will set you to 30 minutes, and take you to a menu that normal users will never see. A guest can login and download certain files (which are currently out of date, as they are worthless for the BBS now as a Telnet BBS; right now have things downloadable like Telix, Terminate, and the such...not to mention that they have broken links if I remember correctly) Anyhow, the last option, Disconnect, is self explanatory.
