A lot of people said that when Windows Vista hit.

The issue is that for people to make the switch, they need to be aware there are
alternatives. Most
consumers out there are not informed and think everything is Windows - they
don't even know Apple
uses a different OS. And those who know of the Apple ecosystem often want
nothing to do with it
because of cost concerns or walled garden concerns.

It is only when they see something other than Windows running anywhere that it
enters their radar
and they have a chance to decide to switch.
