You're exactly right.  If it wasn't for Windows, we might have had a productive
career.

As was told to me many decades ago: Microsoft Windows (n.): a 32-bit extension
for a 16-bit GUI on top of a 8-bit OS by a 2-bit company that can't stand one
bit of competition.
