Extra points for supporting sftp too. Nowadays I think most Linux file managers have support for sftp or ftp out of the box, which is quite cool. I use the command-line ftp tool quite often myself. ay better than having to install a full featured graphical client. As an interesting recommendation, you guys could check Swiss File Knife (SFK). It is a portable binary with an array of integrated utilities for sysadmins that need tools to solve issues in a pich. It comes with both an ftp client and server, http support, checksum tools and a wide collection of other goodies. It works on Windows, Linux and Mac. Great for those times when you have to transfer some file from a computer to another. -- gopher://gopher.richardfalken.com/1/richardfalken --- SBBSecho 3.14-Linux * Origin: Palantir * palantirbbs.ddns.net * Pensacola, FL * (618:250/24) |
