I've got this blah at the back of my throat. That was gorey! I'm thinking about giving my body to science when I die. I remember hearing an announcement at church one morning regarding a doctor who had recently passed. They announced when the funeral would be (though I don't believe the body was there, maybe it was), but said there wouldn't be any burial because he was donating his body to science. My immediate reaction was "cool!" I think I'm going to do the same. And I don't like funerals. Just the minimum needed to help my family get over it then I'm outta there. Wait a second! I'm already outta there. What am I saying? If I ever get married I will discuss this with my wife, but for now the decision is entirely mine, and that's what it would be. However, if she influenced me otherwise, I would suggest cremation (like you) after any useful organs / tissues are salvaged. PEACE! BigBoy |
