KW> Now, with Slack, I have one thread that's my boss, one that's my boss and KW> one other person, another that's my boss, and two different threads with KW> other people... Then, a couple of channels to watch, too... Yes that can grow out of control really quickly. For our modified work from home communications, I created a daily update meeting for my team. We use the same meeting's chat for communications between all of us. We keep it all in there so just one location for all our chatting between the team. Later in the day we do a Teams video call so I can provide updates, priorities, and we can just generally see each other and talk. Some people are not as into talking can drop off after the important stuff. I can answer my office phone at home via VoIP/VPN, and use Horizon View as my desktop. Can also physically control my workstation in my office in need be, but I have everything on my view desktop as well. - Mark --- WWIVToss v.1.52 * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (618:100/12.0) |
