I think it could very well be possible for you to know when he's having
an attack. Sounds like you became very close to him and that may be the
only explanation there is. I've had dreams about people I know and care
about that were similar. When I was living in New York, I had a dream
that my father had called my name three timnes. I woke up with this
terrible feeling that something was very wrong, but didn't know what.
Even though it was about 3am, I had to call him just to make sure he was
alright. I found out that he was very ill at the time with some kind of
infection in his lungs that was making it impossible for him to breath.
I guess I experienced the same thing that you are feeling for your
ex-boyfriend. So I know what you mean. If the two of you broke up on a
good note, why don't you just call him every once in a while to make
sure that things are alright with him and also easy your own mind? I
think you'll feel alot better knowing for sure that he's alright.
