The generation-designation has nothing to do with the CPU. Lenovo refers to
each model of Yoga as generation level. Each Yoga generation has a class of 
functionality, CPU, accessories etc.

Yes I can but prefer either regular laptop-mode or tablet mode. In this case
the keyboard automatically folds into the frame and disables. Windows can be
told to use the touchpen or onscreen keyboard.

The Yoga has a cellular Sim card slot. I have a data plan for it as my work
has me travelling a lot and need Internet "anywhere".
