Egoiste | All | My dream city... |

Often I'll have dreams where I'm in a city, but it's like no where I've ever been. There's nothing extraordinary about it, there is a shopping mall that is pretty weird in it, and it has an amusement park, and also a lot of things that are here, but they were in a different location. There is a new system of streets in the dream as opposed to anywhere I've been, and a lot of restaurants I've never been to. I've had several dreams where I'm in this town or city, and I know my way around it perfectly. It seems that almost all of my dreams take place here. It seems to go on without end, and while most of my dreams don't involve this place, sometimes I will dream about being somewhere and it will often end up being tied to the city or town somehow. It seems that even when I dream about somewhere I know about or have been, it is changed somehow but fits in perfectly with this other place. I don't know what it's name is, but I dream about being there almost every night, though it is not the focal point of my dreams, it just fits in with them as the setting. Does anyone else have a different place they live whenever they dream? For me, it's the same place, but it's different. And I think I like it better than where I live now. If I ever end up in a city that looks like it, which I am sure I never will do, then I should move there. But I guess that it only exists in my mind. Egoiste |
