i think some people have hardware issues, whether they be motherboard or memory,
and it carries over into vms having issues.  faulty memory can do some weird
things.

I run a ton of doorgames and i have goofy stuff like doorway launching them or
dosbox.  I haven't had issues with ntvdm.
