And Here We Are Today... We covetted what we could not have We stole the things we could not buy We took what was not ours to take and here we are today We dreamt our impossible dreams we ruined other peoples wonders we discovered what was already discovered and here we are today We have ruined the future We have forgotten the past we have realized our realities and he we are today We have 'purified' people that were already pure we have brought sin upon those who were not sinners We challenged and change the laws we could not abide and here we are today We have kissed the unkissed maidens of the world We have destroyed our sacred lands We have diminished any god we have ever known And Here We Are Today I hope everyone liked it. If you are wondering what it is about, it's about all the things that stuck out in my mind through history through the years up until the present which is the last section. If you have any suggestions, as to how to improve on this piece, I would like to hear them... |
