Closer to breaking,
out in a smile,
or a laugh,
while a tear,
closes the hearing,
I lay on myself,
so the faces I see,
laugh and cry at the same time,
while showing no emotion,
and speak to me,
while making no words with their lips.
Despair filters all emotions,
and we die then before our time,
fade away before we become,
what we would be,
in time,
our wisdom will die this way,
and few will survive,
unless they become,
closer to breaking.....
