True...current releases of Adept only run on HPFS due to the program structure
and the fact that it uses long filenames and directory names.

Well...I AM a little biased. I am very satisfied with the product and I was not
at all happy with the lack of Fido support in VBBS. Sure they have the DOS
version of VFido running pretty good but Neil Marshall got into a spat with
Roland and the OS/2 version ceased being upgraded and the latest version was
very, very slow and buggy.

I think you will like OS/2. To get the doors running you need to get a copy of
Ray Gwinn's SIO comm drivers. Much better comm drivers than the native ones
that come with OS/2. I run a two line system here with a 486SLC/66 and 16Mb
RAM with about 1 gig of HD space and 20-30 online games. Most of the games
run fine except a couple of them are real cycle pigs and slow the system down
a little bit. Normal usage is great though.
