Re: Postings..... > Who knows how to network two systems through OS/2 Warp, and who knows > what the best tape backup software is for OS/2 Warp? Well, I'v enever done it myself, but I've helped others network with Warp As for the tape software.. I ran Backmaster for awhile, but i now use DualStor, and it's much better... They also have it for the Dos/Win world, so you can use it on everything.. It allows you delete individual volumes (if you use it's propriatary backup, not just standard).. This is of course for a floppy unit... For a SCSI unit, you can use anything from the free GTAR, to a commercial prog... Though, I haven't used any of them... DualStor, huh? Okay, I'll look for that one. Do you know where I can get it? Mail order, maybe? Do you know off hand if this will work with a Colorado Jumbo 250 meg (internal)? I'm very interesting in hearing more about how best to network with Warp. Any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I've got a 486/DX4/120 and am almost finished building a 486/DX2/66 - I'd like to get 'em netted together. Thanks! |
