Any suggestions? Desqview on this 386sx/20 has been > good to me for many years. Convince me!!!!! Personally, I love OS/2. Desqview is an excellent multi-tasker for DOS programs, so it works wonderfully when you're running a DOS-based BBS. But with the proper configuration, OS/2 will run DOS sessions just as well, if not better, and you can run OS/2 applications and Windows 3.1 applications all at the same time. I'd install OS/2 on your other computer and play with it a bit before switching over. Get things optimized first. > Oh yea.... This is also a chance to post on this sub that I took over > about 3 weeks ago!!!!! We don't want to have this tech sub go down the tubes, > as so many others are. Do we? No, we certainly don't... I'm glad to see something happening here again (last post was from like 159 days ago!). |
