Write this info down. Now if you are getting those recieving ID************ERROR! messages on a Vnet connect *AFTER* you do a UUCP connect then I would again type in mode com? (With the ? being the com port number that you did the UUCP connect with. I'll bet that TO = ON. when you do a mode after the UUCP connect. If it is then you have the problem right there!
