OS/2 has an ANSI=On switch I believe, but that would only be for OS2 programsI
think. What I do is in the DOS session notebooks include a device statementie
C:\OS2\MDOS\ANSI.SYS

I believe you can slso still use other ansi drivers ie Zansi etc by putting
them in the DOS_Device statement instead.
