OS/2 is to IBM what 1 chevy is to GM. If it dies they will not miss a beat. I am an OS/2 lover and run my 4 node BBS on it but as an IBM stockholder I know my dividends would be bigger without OS/2. If IBM had Bill Gates' attitude towards marketing, OS/2 would be on everybodys 'puter today because it is so much better than WIN95 and with a few improvements could easily corner the market. All they need to do is make it easier for the average joe to install it and provide cheaper tech support. I will say that when you call the 900 number for help, some smart techies answer the phone immeadately and know their stuff. |
