Any > help would be appreciated. Well I got the same set...I manage to stableize everything except the Colorado program.... so far I have re-installed it three or four times... tr that. I think this person was talking about a tape which was probably defective, not necessarily trouble with the software (then again, maybe I read it wrong). I don't know of any special purpose utilities to read damaged tapes or tapes with errors, but respooling it might help. Worth a shot. Ŀ Ŀ Ŀ Ŀ Ŀ VBBS 7.00 VNET@1717008 Ĵ Multi-Node 717-476-3115 Saylorsburg Pennsylvania -------------=============[ This is my response ]=============------------- Time to change the tagline....... If you can load the Colorado Back-up software, restore bits and pieces, a little at a time. Where you get the snag, just by-pass it on ther next restore. Sure, this will take hours, but go DIR by DIR. I've done this several times, and when I come across a problem, I'll mark what can't be restored, and just slip in an earlier back-up for whatever files I can't retrieve.
