Well I got the same set...I manage to stableize everything except the Colorado program.... so far I have re-installed it three or four times... try that. I think this person was talking about a tape which was probably defective, not necessarily trouble with the software (then again, maybe I read it wrong). I don't know of any special purpose utilities to read damaged tapes or tapes with errors, but respooling it might help.
