when i got this message stating "master boot record has been modified ect.
ect. " it was the result of a VIRUS, and my system was loading SB16 drivers
for no reason as well as hard drive drivers, my system also ran in safe mode
after the boot sector had been corrupted.
oh yea, the STEALTH_C virus was cause, ran out and BOUGHT a anti-virus program
and killed the virus, the formatted my hard drive (the boot sector was
corupted) and reinstalled everything.the whole exprience was a pain in the ass
but dispite your belief, it's not Bill Gates fault, and as far as the manual
is concerned, virus's and their effect on your system aren't covered in the
manual.
