If you have a machine with 32+ MB ram, then you will get faster disk caching by setting your puter type to "Network Server". Unfortunately, idiot Microsoft set the caching patterns for Network Server to match "Desktop Computer"! I said NOTHING about Smartdrv. I am talking about fixing a massive bug in the INTERNAL DISK CACHING SYSTEM. --Sid-- |
