Welcome to the Room Of Windows 95 Screwups.  I just fixed a friend's
computer's error, by reinstalling the stupid program.  It would crash right
at startup.  I found the cause:  He somehow got SB-16 audio drivers installed
in Win95, and he had an OPTI nonstandard (plug-n-pray) soundcard.  The system
would run in 'safe' mode (which is worthless), but not in enhanced mode.  The
error message screen said something like MASTER BOOT RECORD HAS BEEN
MODIFIED. SEE IMPORTANT DETAILS FOR MORE INFORMATION.  So I go to the 'More
Information' window, and it gives me general information on troubleshooting
the system, but NO information on how to repair the problem.  NOTHING!!! Not
in the book, nothing the the docs or help files, nowhere.  Big friggin'
deal...  It just reinforces my opinion that it is one of the great worthless
programs of the world.  Bill Gates is still a piece of sh*t, and I think he
should have died as a child.  Just my $0.02...
