Re: Control Panel - Icon > Well, look in your WIN.INI file and see if there is a LOAD = (something other > than a blank line) This is where things like that can get loaded > automatically. Also check your Startup folder. To make sure that NOTHING is > in there. If ANYTHING is in there, start taking it out one at a time to make > verify what is causing it. Nope, I had exactly the same problem. What you should do is double-click on the "My Computer" icon on your desktop. It'll pop up a window with your drives on it. Then, right-click on Control Panel, and select "Explore". It's one of the CPL's... just double-click each of 'em until you find the right one, and then delete it. --Sid-- |
