Re: help? > Winmodem Configuration > ! Could not find the Winmodem Card > ------ > | OK | > ------ > only Windows the message looks prettier. How do I get rid of this nag? I assume it is a USR WinModem. Is this Correct? Have tryed Deleting from Device Manager and Re-Installing it? Is it a Plug n Pray Modem? (IF it is Try the Refresh Key on the Device Manager Window.) Also, Did it come with any Diagnostic Software? Have you tryed Loading the configuration from a Configuration Program, if it has one. If after all of this and it still won't work, I would call the manufacturer's Technical Support and semi-patiently (Hey I'm Human too. {Listen to Real Non-Hold Music while waiting. It helps}). wait for the Technician to tell me how to fix it since I have failed in all my attempts to make it work.
