I used to use telex but found it flaky (an early version).  I am now using
ProcomPlus and I am verry happy with it.  I recently purchased a USRobotics
Sportster that came with a floppy and a cd rom with goodies.  I had a slight
problem with getting it running on windows 3.1 that I eventually solved but
before solving it I tried to get USR on their help line and after waiting
about 30 minutes for their tech support to come on line, I gave up and hung
up.  I think that we are due for a page in Consumer Reports on the length of
time it takes to raise tech support on various products.
