If it's not the comport warning thing that Matt suggested, the next possibility is video/vid memory conflict. There are a number of different settings and changes that might help, or might not! Get updated video drivers. Use 16 color, plain jane VGA Try using the new MS 256 color SVGA driver Don't play w/ front door in a DOS window? try excluding some of the video area in your autoexec.bat use memmaker to configure your autoexec and config for use with windows get the MS windows resource kit. (book or down load from MS support) turn off write caching check lock video memory in your DOS pifs and other playing around things. Check out the book windows Resource Kit, it's got like a good description of every WIN.INI and SYSTEM.INI entry. Luck.
