     Are you using Drive Rocket?  I got that program with my WD 170, and it
recognized my 340 which is the same brand as yours.  Talk about disk access!
  I cannot stand running the bbs in DOS now.  Now I know why folks wondered
when I was complaining about access time.
     Matthew, it's true that you should have one continual piece of the hd
for the swap drive as well, no?
  Not sure if that's been covered recently. . .Thanks!
