Richard Glidden | Thorn Wulf | Windows '95 Installation Problems... |

> Well from the sound of the display, maybe it is the vidio board? Already tried it. I swapped out ALL of the hardware on my system, except for the motherboard (Which means the CPU, RAM, and EIDE/FLOPPY controllers), and the Hardware. I even changed Keyboards, and Mice! No luck... It's something in the HD's, or the Controllers I think. Mickeysoft Tech Support told me to disable the EIDE controller in Device Manager, which is fine, except that Windows '95 won't even install, so I can't SEE Device Manager. (And ALL of the installation options I've tried, right down to nothing fancy, normal VGA doesn't help). The strange thing is, I installed in on my 486DX without any problems at all. I'm starting think this Plug'n'Pray stuff isn't quite as good as they claim. =) /\/ Richard Glidden \/\ . * The Imperial Sanctum * [ASV] [VSB] [G3] [DM/F!] (905) 799-9210 |
