I worry to much! <G> Yup. Same thing that always happens. Current Technology almost always stays in the same price range. It's only the leading-edge stuff that's really difficult to figure out... A good example is my 170mb IDE hard drive I have in this system. When I bought it, it was one of the largest drives you could get for under $500... When I bought my 1.2 gig EIDE drive last year, it was less money than my 170 mb drive was! Just like hard drive prices, as better and bigger technology comes out, it simply pushes the price of the other technology down. You'll ALWAYS be able to get a personal computer for somewhere between $1,000 to $3,000. But what you buy two years from now for $1,000 will be much better than what you can get today for $3,000, and what you could get six years from now for $500 will be better than today's $5,000 computers... /\/ Richard Glidden \/\ --- * The Imperial Sanctum * --- ---[VSB] [ASV] [DM/F!] [G3]--- |
