Ok, have to jump in here, there are yard sales, swap meets, etc
where software (old software and new) can be picked up cheap or
free... just look around, make sure you get the original disks
and the books, if any, for it. This is a great way to start your
software upgrade path, but then again, we were talking originally
about QBasic right, then degenerated into general piracy laws...
There is no upgrade from MS for QBasic. When they bought it, they
killed, it except for the interpreted version of course, provided
to all with DOS.

O.K. Ya know I have to say getting software at a yardsale would be quite
dumb. Cause you don't know the person. Plus the software could have a virus.
I would much rather make the company pay for not having it out, Than me.
Cause I aint got the kind of money Microsoft has. I can't afford a new system
just cause some butthole wrote a dang virus that totaly screws the computer
up. What do say. Take a program Illegaly, or Have to buy a new system just
cause your a dumby.
